How it works:
When you purchase your Gift Certificate you will receive a confirmation email which will include a 5 digit code. When your recipient is ready to redeem their GC they purchase their items online as per normal and then email us their 5 digit code. We will then refund their payment and re-invoice in relation to the value of the Gift Certificate.
Legal:
All Gift Certificates are in US dollars and are only redeemable in the Scout & Catalogue Big Cartel and Etsy stores. All Gift Certificates are valid for one year after the purchase date. If you are a Canadian resident you will automatically be charged tax on your Gift Certificate purchase which we will refund back to you after purchase. If your recipient is Canadian they will be charged the HST or GST applicable to their province of residence when they redeem their GC.
